EDUCATION

I have been teaching for over ten years, specializing in working with advanced, professional, semi-professional and college level musicians. I’ve done masterclasses, projects with special groups and private lessons.

My main focus as an educator is to help pupils to find their own strengths and approaches and use those as a tool for a natural way to learn.

My experience of teaching

• Kuopio Conservatory, teaching drums, band instruments and music theory
• KAO Conservatory, teaching drums for bachelor students.
• Leading workshops for dementia patients and disabled in different EU funded projects (TAKUULLA YHDESSÄ!,TAKUULLA!, HYVINVOINTIVOIMALA 2014-2017) that aim to develop well-being services which utilize cultural possibilities and promote well-being and health by means of art and culture.
